Prerequisites

  • I searched for any existing report about this website issue to avoid opening a duplicate.
  • I can reproduce this website issue in a new, unmodified web browser profile with Dark Reader installed as the only extension.

Website Issue Description

I received some comments from readers of my blog that they see the content as white on yellow rather than very dark grey on yellow.

Using a slightly old version of the extension I have managed to reproduce, see below. But reports also arrived with me from people using the latest version.

Personally, I find the recolour merely "a bit odd", but the reader reactions indicated they found it more of an issue.

Of course, the readers know they have Dark Reader installed but instead of filing an issue they complain to me. So it is my job to file this issue. I would appreciate it if the extension had a built-in way to report broken websites, or a way to notify user how they should report broken websites, or ultimately better logic to not break as many sites. Apologies if it already does have any of these.
