There is no service named "LightingService" in the windows services panel for me to remove. Even when I uninstall Aura SDK, the color cycle continues. How do I disable this?

The default color cycle is built into the motherboard bios, i.e. no software cycles it unless you installed the Aura Sync software for other effects. It seems you have not installed it so you should be good there.

Is it possible you didn't install the AuraSense.exe service with elevated Administrator privilages? Do do this requires opening a command prompt as Administrator before executing "AuraSense.exe -service". Also make sure AURA_SDK.DLL is in the same folder as AuraSense.exe. If it can't find this dll then it logs an error in the Windows Event log under Application.
