Multiple cart instance

Suppose I want to create separate cart instance with same storage ( Session based ). Is it possible? If so then please tell me how to do that as I tried creating multiple instances for same user with session but it didn't worked out.
For example: I want to have one default cart instance & a Wishlist cart instance with same storage option i.e. session. Is it possible?
I am able to use multiple instance with different storage but don't know how to do that with same storage.
Any help would be appreciated.
