https://ctsa.ncats.nih.gov/cd2h/tools-for-ctsas/

  • Odd to find edu stuff here, better to move it as its own tab or with workgroups
  • Very confusing categorization of things - tools for CTSAs asks me to join a workgroup, a big box explaining the maturity model project, a toolbox of actual tools with another set of tabs/categories (this is the only thing I would expect to see here), and then a list of best practice guides with a different formatting/tabs, and then some of those have additional facets. This level of faceting/tabbing/differential formatting all on the same page is difficult to navigate.
  • Resource discovery items are only for expertise and not resources. Resources would be eagle-i, or SPARC, which is listed under administration (not sure what administration means in this context)

To do: PI group to discuss

Is this issue superceded by the current plan for Labs?

+1. That page is slightly off-putting in its omissions, and not very useful in its commissions. Better to focus on labs software inventory both internal and external where we can get our finger on the pulse of what needs to be revealed rather than a few things that people really are already using or know about. Once we have the Labs refacing done we can simplify the NCATS website and remove this.
