There needs to be a way to collect telemetry on who is using the project and what method is used. This way we'd a data-driven way to measure the success of this project and improve quality on the most frequently used projects.
The simplest option would be sending a cluster status check in every method with the following user agent header:
We've had this discussion at length with Jason Pohl and a few others that would enable a call-home for usage, we've never really been able to get much traction. I love the idea and I think you've got many supporters but bringing it to reality has been challenging.
My idea was to send usage stats into the event log and then we'd be able to find it and track it from Logfood.
