In episode 6. Blurring Images, median filtering is menionted in Other methods of blurring with "For other kinds of noise, e.g. “salt and pepper” or “static” noise, a median filter is typically used." However, this description of the typical use of median filtering for static noise is confusing because median filtering/blurring is most effective on salt-and-pepper noise while preserving edge details. Both Gaussian blurring and median blurring may work to remove static noise in images. My suggestion is to change the sentence to "For other kinds of noise, e.g. “salt and pepper”, a median filter is typically used." for clarity.
