acirb v1.2 examples/acidashboard folders not installed

Version: acirb (1.2.1.0) or earlier 1.1
Platform: Ubuntu 16.04
When following instructions at https://github.com/datacenter/acirb/tree/master/examples/acidashboard I cannot find the examples or acidashboard folders in order to continue. Consulted 'gem env' for install location and still unable to locate directories.

Hate to post this is here as I'm sure its most likely an issue with my install process.
