Properties panel is unexpectedly reset on changing viewer properties if there is a scaffold tree filter in filters panel

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open SPGI
2. Open filters
3. Add scaffold tree filter, draw and add some structure
4. Add some viewer and open viewer's properties (e.g. Scatter plot)
5. Change some property (e.g. change axis type, marker size etc.)

Expected results: properties panel is still showing the same viewer's properties.
Actual results: properties panel is reset to 'filtered rows' view:

To open viewer properties again user has to close panel and click the cog icon for the viewer.
Trellis plot: inner viewer properties cannot be opened at all, 'filtered rows' view is opened instead:
