On the confluent site https://docs.datastax.com/en/kafka/doc/kafka/install/kafkaInstall.html, it says version 1.4.0 zip download comes under Apache 2.0 license.
Does it mean we can clone the source from this repo and use it ?
What about version 1.5.0 ? Can we clone this repo, make any changes for our requirements ? Is it completely free to distribute the jar along with a commercial software product ?
