fix overlap for rectangles & squares
Create preferences for # of MC points, etc.

For 2.0:
Add ability to clip to circle inset within canvas; should measure modes only in the circle as well.
Add irregular assemblages of shapes (e.g., multiple non-rotated rectangles merged into one particle, to look like a feldspar, for example)
Add other shapes: octagons (cf pyroxene), rhombii (cf amphibole)

Redo whole thing as Foundation Tool, in order to make it a webapp?
