Comparing a database of faces to the faces in a photo #468
Comments
Hi Tom! The ID photos are 1 per person I take? If that is the case you'll need to use face verification (do 2 pictures belong to the same person), take a look at compare.py, you feed all your pictures to it and it will return you a distance matrix with number between 0 and 2 where 0 = 100% the same and 2 = 0% the same. Hope this helps a bit, if you have some more questions regarding this problem just let me know. |
Ah thanks for this. So I managed to modify the load_and_align_data function so that it takes the input from a folder with the ID photos and all the photos from a folder with the unknown photos. The function is below:
I am getting this error:
Thanks for the help |
See the answer in #362 for that ValueError |
Thx but I am already using .jpg, I think the issue is more with the fact that what is returned from the load_and_align_data function is two numpy stacks in a list like [stack1, stack2] so when I do something like feed_dict = { images_placeholder: images[1], phase_train_placeholder:False } and reference one of the two it works but what I want to do is compare all of the faces from one with the other. |
@MaartenBloemen Hey I'm still stuck on this, got any ideas? |
Hi, |
@TomGrozev |
Hi,
So what I have is a folder will thousands of ID photos as the reference faces and hundreds of photos with multiple people in them and I need to find who (from the ID photos) is in each photo and the faces location in each image. I am having some trouble getting my head around facenet and the documentation doesn't refer to this. I was able to do a similar thing using https://github.com/ageitgey/face_recognition but this doesn't recognise faces very well.
Help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
