what about files installed in /app/.apt/usr/share ? #3

I understand that all programs are installed under /app/.apt and while this is fine for programs and library files, the newly installed programs expect shared files to lie under /usr.

Any way to get around this?

Unfortunately not. Heroku sandboxes us to /app
