would it be possible to let the player play all files, which are not recognized by the firedrive website as videos? since I have such files (mp4, flv, etc.)

Good afternoon friend! Their plugins always worked perfectly for me since some days I can not watch my movies and series in (xbmc-13.1-Gotham) through the streamURL, I add in a xml list, but (firedrive plugin version 0.1 .0) stopped working, I'm desperate because 90% of video files hosted on Firedrive server.

There is a version 0.2.1 to fix the issue being posted in < 10 mins. There was a server issue, and this new version fixes it.

I haven't been able to log in for several days through the web browser to FireDrive.com Seems to be a server issue. Not sure why they haven't fixed it. If you have a FireDrive URL, they still play I believe -- you just can't log in, etc.

All my movies and series write the URL FireDrive ema xml list and access the XMBC alert by livestrams plugin but unfortunately is not working anymore..

When I dug a bit deeper, I noticed the links to videos resolve, and I assumed the playback would work, but I notice it only plays some 15 second preview. Downloading the file doesn't work either. This is all from the web browser, so the plugin would not work either. Which another server with enough free space I can host and power through the use streamURL.

I'm hoping as well. There were also SockShare, which I have an identical plugin, but they may have been owned by FireDrive because they also disabled their videos at the same time FireDrive did. Someone pointed me to QVIVO a few months ago, and I uploaded some files at that time, and it seemed like a nice service, and I was thinking about making a plugin. But I've noticed the videos I uploaded have since disappeared and I can't seem to upload any new videos. So perhaps their service is disabled or dead. Only legit services I can think of (ones where your files will not be deleted) are Google Drive, Box, and Dropbox. Google Drive, I have a similar plugin. It is only 15GB an account. As long as you don't share your content publicly, this would be the most secure from getting your files deleted. I have about 75GB of videos uploaded to Google Drive.

how did you get to 75 GB on Google Drive, you have a premium account? 15GB is not enough. With the odds-on Google Drive can I create more than one account and watch normally without login problems ??

I have a Google Apps account with Google. At the time I signed up for it, years ago, they gave you 100 users at 5GB each user. They updated the user limit to 15GB each. Perhaps I can talk to you about this on email or gtalk.

There is a XBMC plugin already, called DBMC I think. I haven't used it, but I read through the description and it seems to create a local copy of all your files, so not precisely the same way my plugins work.

Before FireDrive died, I was doing a lot of updates on the code (in master stream). I was streamlining with the hopes of moving these changes across the other plugins, and also create new plugins for other cloud services (such as Box and Dropbox), all featuring the same functionality, use the same calls (streamURL), etc. I'm still planning on doing this, but since the changes were not finished, I'll have to move all the changes to one of the other plugins (such as OwnCloud), finish the changes and then go ahead with my plan. One of the major activities left was to test all the API changes, which I was underway when FireDrive died a week ago.

Good afternoon! Any server that provides stream (URL) for me would be critical because through the (streamURL) can program in a xml list to watch through the livestrams plugin. As for DBMC, until I got it just that he does not passui (streamURL). I tried using the Gdriver your repository, only the log reports that the login be incorrect or permission denied. Videoweed looks like it is using X-Hosting software. It may work with
CloudStream as CloudStream is programmed to work with all X-Hosting
software. When I encounter a new host, I validate and make any changes to
make the host work. So I will examine this in the plugin and validate if
any changes need to be made.

Good Night Dylan Durdle! My good friend unfortunately was unable oter success with oddon Gdrive of every 10 videos posted only 1 or 2 worked, despite all his efforts to help me, I was not happy. The only alternative I had to use other services like "vidspot.net" through the oddon "CloudSream" only that it also crashed.
