Shell won't open from icon that leave out

How to reproduce:

1. Go to AROS:System drawer
2. Select "Shell" icon and press Amiga + L ( Icon/Leave out )
3. Click on "Shell" icon on Wanderer desktop

System/Shell.info > Leave out > Works fine
Wanderer Shell.info > Put away > Does not work
This happens with any 'single' icon without an associated file, also happens with single folder icons."

"I don't remember reporting the ghost "icons" problem on Wanderer, that if you try to delete them, instead of being deleted they multiply, it is solved only if you delete the .backdrop file

Ghost icons appear for example when the .backdrop file is linked to a file that is no longer on the system."
