not sure if I fucked something up but with the following setup:

require("decay").setup({
    style = "default",
    italics = {
        code = false,
        comments = true,
    },
    nvim_tree = {
        contrast = true,
    },
})

every diff in gitsigns is greyed out, as seen in the screenshots
