Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes, Defguard doesn't support Google SSO for authentication. This forces us to juggle multiple credentials, making access management a headache as users need multiple sets of passwords.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'm looking for a simple fix: Adding Google SSO into Defguard, or any SSO provider. The ability to log in with just a click on a "Login with Google" button, using OAuth 2.0 for a smooth and secure handshake with Google. No more separate usernames and passwords, just quick access with your Google account.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Adding generic OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect support to Defguard. It could open doors to various identity providers, not just Google.
Additional context
Bringing Google SSO on board would be a game-changer for Defguard's appeal and security. It'd make logins a breeze, slash the hassle of managing multiple credentials, and tap into Google's solid security features like two-factor authentication (extra layer with defguards' MFA). It's especially a win for teams already on Google Workspace, making Defguard a more attractive choice for their security toolkit.
