1.12 Possible crash with OTG #47
Comments
Thanks for reporting this. The crash log seems to imply that the Streams river generator was looking for solid ground and failed to find any - are you using a mod that creates bottomless pits such as a floating-islands dimension of some kind? |
Only the mods listed above, no others. Am testing a new world build. |
BUT, OTG (or biome bundle - not sure which one adds them) has forest biomes that are sometimes like a large floating forest island with large holes which are above an ocean with stalagmity-pointy-rock-islands. |
I haven't been able to reproduce the crash but I added a check for this in the latest Streams 1.12-0.4.2 patch so it skips placing the faulty Streams blocks instead of crashing. So please try again and if you see suddenly-interrupted streams, could you post a screenshot with the seed and coordinates? Thanks! |
Retested with latest versions and eventually found a nice network of Streams, and all seems fine. Could have been some odd biome-specific issue though, so will let you know if I find another instance of it. |
Sounds good, thanks for letting me know. I'll close the issue now, please re-open if you encounter a problematic Stream in your OTG world. |

I "think" this is a crash between Streams/Farseek & OTG terrain gen.
