Even though the README claims that this tool is under “active early development,” there have not been any commits for almost two months.

What is necessary for dnt to be considered stable?

I think the tool is already useful enough to see that the API is good and can be considered stable. I'm sure there are still a few edge cases to be fixed and new features to be added, but skimming through the list of open issues, it seems like everything can be done in a non-breaking way.

What is missing for you to consider it stable?

From my side, only the version bump.

There are often lots of breaking changes. For example, the next release will change a bunch of stuff, but the basic "how it works" should stay mostly the same. I'm going to keep this as 0.x to encourage faster development.
