[Bug]: Opens empty pane with diff when note is already on sidebar

Describe the bug

It'd be nice to have the file side by side with the diff, even if it's already in view in the sidebar. However at least not having the empty pane stay would be nice.

Have a note in the sidebar with changes. Open the source control view and double click on the file.

I reworked the whole concept. It should be much easier now. Simply use the new button and hold CTRL to open the file in a new pane. Or click on the title and hold CTRL to open the diff in a new pane.
