This code was built against psql 9.3 (I THINK?). Everything SHOULD work but i've seen some odd errors. I suspect some of the more advanced sql that was written is out of date.

I think I was running into the same issue. Only about half of the tables are being created when I follow the instructions here and in the original nfldb postgres install directions. I tried updating the nfldb.sql file to be able to create all the tables and handle the custom types, but it still hasn't worked.

Were you able to resolve this issue? I've got a couple of empty tables and I can't get nfldb-update to run.

Nah, I wasn't able to get it working, unfortunately.
