Constrain X & Y movement with SHIFT key #53
Comments
Closing here. Keeping discussion at #66 |
Nevermind, #66 is something a bit different. I think this would be a nice feature to have. But, thinking it over, I imagine it would take a non-trivial amount of code to get it to work with nice UX. If others would like to see this feature, please +1. |
I've put together a demo of this feature: http://codepen.io/desandro/pen/ogvVLw You can copy/paste the relevant code and get it working for yourself. |
Fantastic, works exactly as expected. Do you plan to make it a standard feature? Thanks a lot! |
Cool man TNANKS!! Keep cool. |
@desandro Any hope that http://codepen.io/desandro/pen/ogvVLw would make it to 1.2.1? Cheers! |
If this issue gets enough +1, I'll consider it. When I tweeted it, it got a fair amount of engagement, so there definitely is a fair amount of interest. |
Looks like no one else has +1'ed, so I'm going to close this feature request. Thanks again for bring up this issue! |
Would it be possible to add a feature that would force movement of dragged objects only along X or Y axis when SHIFT key is held.
Thanks!
