I have a weird problem with some masonry blocks using isotope. I've defined a few different sized blocks in a grid, the masonry works but somehow there are always white gaps at the beginning of the masonry blocks (not at the end where you would expect them).

I know that the script fills out what it can, but I am 100% sure that there are blocks lower on the page that FIT in the white spaces above. Is this normal behaviour? I was under the impression that the script would fill out as MUCH as possible at the the top of the page.

For an example of what i mean you can see here:

Any suggestions or am I the only one experiencing this problem (seems unlikely though)?

Yes, this is normal behavior. See desandro/masonry#141 . Closing as a duplicate

Thank you for providing an isolated example.
