As of PR #90, the description of (1x|4x)_depth tiles was incomplete. These have a different directory structure from the rest of the tiles.

The directory structure is actually the same, conceptually:

type-of-group/tileid/groupnumber

@sbailey, could you remind me what the "subset" means? Subset of what? I just need a sentence or two.

@weaverba137 Rongpu selected custom subsets of the exposures of these deep (N>>1 exposures) tiles to achieve a combined depth for each subset matching 1x or 4x of the typical main-survey depth. i.e. they are subsets of the total exposures taken for that tile, selected to achieve a specific depth, for systematics comparisons with the full depth coadds+redshifts in the cumulative group that has all exposures for each tile.
