The problem

Very often when using the clipboard (any combination of CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+X) in the commit summary or context box I experience lag where the entire keyboard entry freezes for up to a second. This happens very much more often when I have just ALT-Tabbed into Desktop.

Release version

Version 3.3.11

Operating system

Windows 10

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Alt-tab into Desktop (Optional)
  2. Go to the commit summary
  3. Try to copy/paste/cut some text
  4. Randomly all inputs will freeze, even trying to navigate with the arrow keys.

Log files

No logs related to clipboard entries are produced.

Screenshots

No response

Additional context

Quite confident it is not a system hardware issue as I'm working on a high-performance workstation.
