It's hard to find the version number of the plugin.

Show the version number on the options page of the plugin.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Searching the planet for the version number, finding a penny under my chair but still not the version number for this plugin.

The version number is also listed in Firefox at the bottom of the page when you click on an extension in about:addons, but I agree that the version and other details should be shown on the options page of the extension.

I plan to add a tabbed layout for the options page of my extensions, and the version could also be listed there in the "About" tab.
