how many notifications are cached?

I want to know how many notifications are cached in server?
And is it possible to store the device notifications into the database?

Hello!

Number of notifications depends on amount of memory available for device hive server. You can fine tune application memory as well as hazelcast storage settings to keep more notifications.

In order to store notifications in database you can attach listener to Apache Kafka and from there store all notifications into database storage. Additional option could be using TICK stack that could be attached to Apache Kafka and then use custom plugin to redirect data flow into InfluxDB.

Depending on your needs, there is built in token based authentication. Existing configuration could be extended by utilizing 3rd party options like auth0, stormpath, dailycred and others; latter however require additional programming efforts.
