Do you actually need more simultaneous streams, or are you trying to get around issues where HomeKit says all streams are in use even though they aren't being used? There are some known issues with homebridge 1.2.3, which can cause the streams to be consumed and not released. Try downgrading to 1.1.6 for now.

Actually, it is a stream increase count request. I must be hitting a limit as when I get a ding between the AppleTV’s and Watches getting notifications and starting the stream I hit limits quite easily.

It’s exasperated with 1.2.3, but the issues occurred before 1.2.3
