consider proposing to GNU ELPA or the Emacs core #3

I think this package is useful enough to live in the GNU ELPA (so it's available to install by default) or even in the Emacs core, so I want to suggest proposing it on the emacs-devel mailing list. I think it makes for a helpful interface for beginners and has minimal dependencies, so it's a good fit for the core.

Well thank you for the vote of confidence. I'm not sure on pushing it into core, but ELPA is probably a good idea. Unfortunately I don't have a CLA signed though, so that's likely the largest sticking point.

Signing the Emacs assignment papers is not hard, but it's your decision of course. It takes little time, and if you live in the USA at least, can be done electronically. I don't know about other countries. See http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/Copyright_Assignment if you're interested. Thanks!
