Before this data set goes in hetionet, do the UMLS terms get mapped to either MeSH or DOID?

Data from this repository is ingested by Hetionet v1.0 in cells 53-56 of this notebook.

The side effect terms from SIDER are inserted into Hetionet v1.0 via their UMLS identifiers. The drug terms from SIDER are converted from PubChem terms to DrugBank compounds in SIDER4.ipynb. Therefore, UMLS side effect to DrugBank compounds edges can be directly inserted into Hetionet.

This response was about Compound -- Side Effect edges. Are you instead interested in Compound -- Disease edges (i.e. indications / treatments)?
