The one I tried errored at the additions to the gradle config.
Will allow youtube to use exoplayer and work better with livestreaming.

On further reflection I think this would result in getting removed from the Play store and should be tabled unless that happens. Currently just accessing the RSS feed for updates and the embedded url link for webview, so completely within Youtube's rules.

Newpipe appears to have this squared away, and any fork of it is banned from the Play store.
