Not always homing x-axis correctly after oiling the ball screws #20

Our machine started to make noises so I oiled the ball screws using SKF LMCG 1/0.4 coupling grease. Our printer now is a lot quieter during printing, however, it does not home correctly anymore. Sometimes it seems to not trigger the end-stop and crash into the side. Homing it a second time usually solves the issue. Could this be something that can be improved by modifying the home.g?
