Pods can (and are encouraged) to completely customize their landing page, only the header and the footer is provided by diaspora then. How do you imagine this to be realized?

i'd recommend adding a small flag in the footer.

How is it determined?

i think pod owners have to set their location themselves. i don't think we can evaluate where pods store their data, can we?

We display the footer on almost every pages. This doesn't add enough value to be everywhere I think. We could add that on the statistics page, it's kind of the About page.

Don't think so, just asking.

podupti.me evaluates the location based on the ip.
is there a possibility to add the flag in the footer only on the front-page?
