IIIF Browser component #111
Comments
Prototype is at https://tomcrane.github.io/scratch/contentstate/cs.html |
This would be really nice to have in v 1.0 but needs some UX assistance. |
v1.0 MVP - same as current new canvas, but accepts a Manifest, then shows a thumbnail strip. 1.x is more like https://preview.uxpin.com/cabb8dec496a444a18e1ed442230485a02c17484#/pages/148163673/simulate/sitemap?mode=i ...with the addition of breadcrumbs trail Allows folder/file like navigation until you are in a Manifest Allows content state selection Is standalone component for use elsewhere. |
Updated https://tomcrane.github.io/scratch/contentstate/cs.html to include "media" as a mode. When call-to-action is media, pick media by returning list from canvas Need to solve where this appears… is it an additional panel? A new window? A modal dialogue? You might want to keep it open to make several selections from the same or nearby sources when building a manifest. If can be launched from many places. |
For Canadiana, demonstrate and review the current status of this component. |
Need to check that we cover the scenarios in #20 |
