Potentially via a Trigger-Service API.

The use case is when you know that you want more processing to occur during a specific period of the day. Ideally, that heartbeat could also be a state that' settable within TriggerA.

Do you want to send individual heartbeats or do you want to be able to change the heartbeat frequency?

I guess the latter gives you access to the former.
