This is the same behaviour whether "Include archived" is ticked or not.

Also, if we can drag the field width to widen the columns, that would be awesome too :-)

+1 on this issue
This is pretty important when demoing because sorted by Time is the way to explain the event log

I just discovered this bug when looking for a nicer way to observe unfolding ledger events in real time than tailing a log. I would like to ensure that the new contracts are successively being added to the top or the bottom, but as it is I can't even be sure they are being ordered! (EDIT: They aren't.) Pretty please fix this :-)

And ditto as well on the column widths. By default it cuts off the timestamp after the tenth of second and dragging wider allocates everything to the TemplateID column. I could live with this (no need to add drag-resize) if it displayed the time to millisecond resolution (leaving nanoseconds shown only through hover or drilldown), but tenth of second isn't enough.

Daml Navigator will be deprecated for 2.9.
