Highlight color opacity automatically sets to 255

When trying to set opacity, it's just automatically set to 255 every time you try to change it. This means that I can't change opacity on any older setups, and whenever trying to set opacity to anything to 255 it'll just reset.

Setting an opacity bugs out some of the UI so I override it to 255 after the user picks a color. Are you saying it's not being set to this value?
