pswp__img--placeholder image is showing after showAnimationDuration

After showAnimationDuration the thumbnail image .pswp__img--placeholder is showing for a few miliseconds (like a blink of an eye).

When I'm disabling showAnimationDuration setting him to 0 the problem disappear, I want to mantain the default behavior yet.

You are using option msrc I assume? That would be the only reason a different image would be displaying temporarily in photoswipe. Basically this is correct behavior, as it displays a small image before the larger image is loaded. The process is not flawless, as often it seems counter-productive to display a small image for less than a second, before a larger image starts loading, especially if the larger image is progressive.
