Yes, you are correct. Daphne will try to send ping packets down the WebSocket every ping_interval number of seconds, and after the ping_timeout will close the socket and trigger a websocket.disconnect event.
The only case in which a websocket.disconnect is not triggered is if Daphne crashes, or if your server loses power.

Actually, while considering implementing channels, I read some issue : django/channels#293
At that issue, as your answer, I skimmed daphne.
So I found that lines of code.
Because I'm newbie in programming and python, I want to ask these means that there are auto check system that for removing dead websocket connection.
Am I understanding it properly?
If I am right, Is it okay that I take it for granted that auto check system will trigger 'channels' websocket disconnect method?
