Hi, it would be great to be able to edit the current viewed message.

Because some messages are very bad formatted and I want to have a clean inbox. e.g. some people send emails with the format of the name 'lastname, firstname' and I prefer the format to 'firstname lastname' ...

Hmmm... cool feature, but in general I try to make it /hard/ for people to change existing messages (since that easily leads to problems). So perhaps we you could have a defvar
mu4e-view-allow-edit (nil by default), which enables this?

Make sure this feature is automatically disabled for signed/encrypted messages.
