Since DL patch has been partially removed in r1427, the horned reaper is incredibly
powerful.

Load the attached level to compare just how powerful he became.

* In the original game due to the bugs afflicting him, he could hardly hit strong creatures
at all. He would lose most battles.

• In KeeperFX before r1427:
- 1 Avatar could beat 2 reapers, but lose to 3
- 1 Reaper was about equal in strength to Bile_Demon + Mistress + Troll
- 1 Reaper was about equal in strength to Vampire + Dragon

• In KeeperFX r1520:
- 2 Avatars lose to 3 Horned reapers in a few seconds
- 1 Avatar has just 1 health pedal left when facing a reaper alone. If the first freeze
spell misses, the reaper wins.
- 1 Reaper kills Bile Demon + Mistress + Troll with over 75% health left
- 1 Reaper kills Dragon+Vampire with over 90% health left

I propose to make the following changes to the reaper:

• Remove the armour spell he did not have in vanilla
• Reduce strength from 150 to 85 (He has massive speed, with 85 strength he hits still
harder than a knight)
• Reduce Luck from 30 to 10 (he does not need double attacks, in the original game
he missed most attacks anyway)
• Reduce Dexterity from 160 to 140

This keeps him still as by far the second most powerful creature in the game, but brings
it back to within reason.

I agree with Armour removal being good idea, but I'm not sure if changing strength is
good. If the goal is to make reaper more like original, then maybe do bigger change
to dexterity?

I think the strenght was boosted by bullfrog because they notices he was weak as hell.
With the current strenght - which is absolutely massive - In first-person mode you
can kill the dungeon heart in seconds, and doors like they are not there. Those are
unaffected by dexterity.

Also, most creatures will die in a single hit, never even getting to use their heal
spell.

A human player will never have time to respond to a reaper, he would have lost before
the message 'Your heart is under attack' has played fully.

With 85 strenght, massive speed and agility, he truly is a fierce creature, doing more
damage then anything elso in the game.

To add: I don't think the goal is make the reaper more like the original, in the original
it was broken, far to weak because of the bugs.

Now, with all the stats restored it is simply far too strong. Almost as powerful as
the avatar, in many cases even stronger.

But I'd accept a further reduction in dexterity as well, although I see the reaper
more as a rampaging bezerker creatures that hits a lot, then a creature with massive
brute strenght, so I'd prefer to see a reduction in strengt. The most important thing
is that he needs to be nerved.

Ok, you've set the strenght to 100, which was still to powerful in my book - the 85
strenght already made him stronger then he was before the agility fix.

But fair enough, it is within reason now. Fixed in r1527.
