would be great feature if we can provide instant results (like google).

We can't even do basic search :o, but yes typeahead search would be nice and also possible with Elasticseach (see #93).
One problem with fancies UI for me was always that dub-registry is explicitly an unfancy request/response site and thus doesn't have any JS framework. Coding things like typeahead search to tag edit fields in raw JS isn't really a reasonable approach.
