Should my status show up in the status feed?

I think that the status shows up in the me command. Or if someone visits your profile. Like so.

C:\Users\lined>socl status post "This is amazing!"
Successfully posted a new status

C:\Users\lined>socl me

Status:         This is amazing!

Following:      0

Yes, the status feed only includes posts from people you follow. Your own current status gets displayed on your profile.
