Unity's log out depends on gnome-session, and USC depends on a system dbus with some apt daemon listening, none of which we launch. If someone figures out a clean way to launch everything, I'll incorporate it in the target; thus this is essentially a duplicate of issue 6. For now, you can kill unity by running killall startunity in a terminal or run dialog, and use Synaptic for managing packages.
I can not seem to find the log out options for unity. The Ubuntu Software Center is not available either.
