I see there's a patch merged with a fix, and looking at the internal ticket (DA-962 - sorry, it's private) it's scheduled to ship with Docker Desktop 4.27.
I'll go ahead and close this one, as there's nothing actionable in this repository, but feel free to comment if this issue persists after updating to Docker Desktop 4.27 (not yet released).

I've just downloaded the latest version of Docker to play with
docker init
for a PHP sample.The generated Dockerfile is this one (partial content)
As you can see there is an error in the
COPY
statement; should beCOPY . /var/www/html
Reproduce
docker int
cat Dockerfile | grep -i copy
Expected behavior
The instruction has to be
COPY . /var/www/html
