I have the Docker.app in my dock and when I click it to open Docker it then opens up a second icon with Docker Desktop as its name causing duplicate icons in the dock...

Inspecting these apps reveals that I have the application Docker.app here: /Applications/Docker.app but the app that actually opens is here: /Applications/Docker.app/Contents/MacOS/Docker Desktop.app.

I tried adding the latter one to the dock instead... and it does look to resolve the duplicate icon issue... however clicking it does nothing and I have to use the menu icon to access the Dashboard... only the Docker.app re-opens the dashboard once Docker Engine is running... this seems pretty buggy and not correct behaviour.

I'm closing this issue, as a fix for this has been released on Docker Desktop 4.8.1!
