Hi Benjamin.

Fresh new install of 3.2.7.
Stylus requires the mkdirp module to works.
Unfortunately, no node_modules folders are created here :

node/lib/node_modules/docpad/lib/exchange/plugins/stylus/node_modules/stylus/

Should the npm install triggered manualy in each plugin ?

I cannot reproduce... Perhaps one of the stylus releases got botched. Can you try reinstalling docpad and trying again?

http://dtrace.org/blogs/dap/2012/02/27/managing-node-js-dependencies-with-shrinkwrap/ seems like a good solution for these types of problems, though it is something for v4.
