Software information

After upgrading the kernel, from 6.8.8 to 6.8.9, World of Warcraft crashes after entering the world (after the loading screen). Downgrading to 6.8.8 fixes the issue.

Some in-game graphics settings seems to be able to make the issue go away (namely, reducing view distance with "DirectX 11 Legacy" engine), but under most settings I tried, the crash is here.

System information

  • Distribution : ArchLinux
  • GPU: AMD RX 7800 XT
  • Driver: amdgpu / mesa 1:24.0.6-2
  • Wine version: tested both with wine-9.8.r0.g6a6e7da9 ( TkG Staging Esync Fsync ) and wine-staging-9.8
  • DXVK version: v2.3.1
