Is there any way to force reconnection to devices over wifi with usbmux?

I have set up a connection to two devices over wifi to remotely run application autotests. But after a few minutes with no activity, I see an empty list in the pymobiledevice3 usbmux list. I have to insert and remove the usb cable to get usbmux to see them again.

iOS devices enter sleep mode if not connected after a while. You need to keep an active connection to disable this behavior. I think the pymobiledevice3 power-assertion is what you're looking for

The command pymobiledevice3 power-assertion AMDPowerAssertionTypeWirelessSync really helps to hold the connection for the timeout period, even if the phone locks up and goes into sleep mode.
But for me I chose to disable autolock, because the device should be available at all times. I also tried with autolock enabled and just charging, but this way the connection will also be interrupted.
