Schedule for F-Droid (and/or direct download) release of the Android app #329

For all of us that do not have access to/cannot use Google Play, I was wondering what was the planned schedule for the release of the app on F-Droid (or other app stores)?

Also, is there already a direct link to download it for the government's servers (I would actually prefer that option)? If not available yet, what is the current schedule for it?

Thanks in advance.

The administration webpage only gives the Google Play link:

The Android app currently depends on GAEN, which is proprietary, and, as such, the application can't be accepted on F-Droid.

Thank you for the prompt answer, and sorry for missing the previous discussion about F-Droid.

Would the same type of reason somehow prevent its diffusion via direct download from a government server? Are there any plans for that?

Of course, I am aware that this might generate additional work when it comes to maintenance of the app.

Let me start by warning you that I am not involved with DP-3T, while I'm replying to your questions :-)
There is nothing preventing the publishers of each app to put them on their own websites to download instead of having only the app in Google's Play Store. However, I suspect most people who do not have Google's Play Store also don't have GMS, without which the application won't work. More infor about that here: SwissCovid/swisscovid-app-android#59
