Small wrap-up what it is about:

  • A pack is opened for everybody to see
  • Players take turns picking one card at a time from the same pack everybody sees

See https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Rochester_Draft and https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/rochester-draft-primer-2005-01-21

I'm not certain about how many packs are played normally and how pick order and pack opening are handled exactly.

  • Who proceeds with first picking in the second pack for example?
  • Is the picking order inverted for each pack?
  • Is picking performed in circles (A to H, A to H, ...) or A to H and H back to A etc.

Please provide any missing information (with sources at best)!

Implementation-wise this one is way easier than getting the spec right :)
